School Meals
Lunch Information
School dinners are free for children in Foundation Stage, Year 1 and Year 2 due to the Universal Infant Free School Meals (UIFSM) funding the school receives from the government.
School dinners cost just £1.50 for Key Stage 2 and Nursery children.
School dinners are cooked on site and consist of a nutritious main course, pudding and a drink. A copy of the menu is sent home on a regular basis so that children and parents can choose meals together.
Children may choose to bring packed lunches to school. In accordance with our policies on being a “healthy” school we ask that packed lunches are of a balanced healthy design.
We also ask that they do not contain glass bottles, fizzy drinks, tin cans, sweets or chocolate bars.
Application form for free school meals:
Although the children in Foundation Stage 2, Years 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a free school meal, if you are eligible through the benefits system and do not apply, the school WILL NOT receive additional funding towards teaching and learning for your child.
